Bitcoin crossed it’s 1 Billionth Transaction
On 5th May 2024, Bitcoin achieved its 1 billionth transaction. The one-billionth transaction was recorded in block 842,241 at 21:34 UTC, according to data provided by the Clark Moody dashboard

Michael Saylor, MicroStrategy’s executive chairman, celebrated this achievement to the X social media network.
The bitcoin halving event happened in mid April 2024 and it reduced the block reward from 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC.
Bitcoin ETFs were approved in the U.S. on January 11, 2024, and in April in Hong Kong.
2024 has been a memorable year for Bitcoin, Because of some milestones such as the Halving event, the approval of Bitcoin ETFs, and the achievement of one billion transactions.
